Christine Fuja, BA

Hello, I’m Christine. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and have worked in a teaching capacity with children of various ages and backgrounds for over 10 years, and most currently with Sweetwater County School District Number One. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. Along with many life experiences, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and developing my therapeutic skills. My approach emphasizes empathy, active listening, empowerment, solution-focus, and collaboration to support growth and healing in relationships and the family’s overall well-being. Utilizing therapy methods such as Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I will work with you and your family to improve relationships with your loved ones.

I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through challenges in their lives to achieve a sense of balance and well-being. I enjoy working with people of all ages and believe that every person has a potential to thrive. I look forward to supporting you and your family in growing through life’s changes and challenges. I am completing an internship at Root to Rise, Inc. under the supervision of Jessica Castillo, MA, LPC, RPT.

In my free time, I like spending time with my husband and children. We enjoy traveling and hanging out with family and friends. I am originally from the west coast, and I also enjoy music, photography, hiking, kayaking, spending holidays with family, and the fall season.
